Not sure where I should have posted this...I apologize in advance if it belongs elsewhere.
Anyway, I installed lighttpd and confirmed it is working. I am able to use ez-ipupdate to update my dyndns account and using gps.php I can located my Palm Pre on Google Maps. I would like to setup ipkg-web. Attempts to do so have failed miserably. I have copied the sluginfo.cgi and package.cgi to the same folders as the gps.php file and tried to load them explicitly in a browser but apparently the browser thinks its a txt file and loads it as such and simply displays it's contents. what am I missing from my lighttpd.conf file??? I have uncommented fastcgi in the conf file, is there some daemon that should also be running to handle cgi files? |

IPKG Web | pembo.co.uk
a quick explanation of what ipkg-web is for those who don't know. IPKG Web isan installable package for linux that can be installed through ipkg using the following command (as root) Code:
ipkg install ipkg-web It makes it so much simpler to see exactly what packages you have installed with IPKG and to see what else is available! Once installed, simply connect to: http://<ip address of slug>/Management/package.cgi and from there it is very straight forward! |
