using Samba as documented on WeOS-Internals.org

Only works with text files so far but .... at least there is a proof of concept!

The samba share hack was a nightmare for me to get set up. Eventually gave up as I never got it working as smoothly as I'd like. Wish someone would work on fleshing that thing out.

yea, it won't start automatically for me.....

but after I shell in I can type

    Code:
    /opt/sbin/nmbd -D
    /opt/sbin/smbd -D
    That starts samba...

    afterward, ...

    Code:
    smbclient //server/hplj4000 -U user%password
...connects to a printer that is shared on server [a windows PC]

blank passwords won't work and I had to setup my smb.conf to support the usb0 interface [i allowed all of them....eth0, usb0, usb0:1, ppp0, bsl0, lo]
