Mines says phone up to date? Even restarted and tried again. Original update was only 79mb
Downloaded and installed the 79 MB update about four hours ago.
Just checked and it says my phone is up to date.

nop...I was at 1.1 before 1.2
wow i downloaded mine at 79mb and when i check for updates it says mine is up to date as well....this is really strange I hope someone can explain this soon, very confusing. I wonder why some people can receive the other update while others stopped at 79mb??

I'm going to throw a long shot out there....
There is an east coat server and a west coast server and the larger update may be time sensitive so not all servers get wacked at once.
Just a guess?

webOS 1.2.0: the OS so nice you should download it twice?
Strange. I updated this afternoon when I saw it on the front page, 79MB. Just checked again and I'm up to date.

The original downloaded was 79MB which downloaded quickly & installed - total process may have taken 10 minutes. I am trying to update again & now I get "Unable to connect. Try again later"

Yes ... I was on 1.1 ... Upgraded to 1.2 (79MB) ... Checked Updates ... Said 1.2 was available (again) @ 153MB ... Downloaded/Installed ... No difference I can tell ... Version # and everything is exactly the same.
i have no idea whats going on i ran the reset doctor 1.1 (the new 1.2 reset doctor was not downloading from the palm site) to get rid of some of my old tweaks and mods,
then i went to check update and installed a 79mb file for webos 1.2,
after i checked again to see if i would get an up to date message and it telling me
unable to connect try again later

on another note one of the errors im finding with 1.2 is when i mis a call there is no call back option can someone plz confirm

I got the 79 mb earlier and the 153 one now, im on the east coast and waiting for 30% battery

I upgraded earlier and it said 79mb and now it says my phone is up to date. So only a few people have had this...maybe you guys had made changes? Deleted some stuff that they reinstalled with 1.2; can you check everything.
almost done d/l the 153mb update, lets see what happs.

EDIT: Installing @2232 hrs
EDIT: Rebooting @2253 hrs
EDIT: DONE @2258 hrs...dont see anything significant. time will tell
3rd time it said i had the same 1.2 update
Ok ... Even more funny ... I just ran the update tool again ... and AGAIN it see's the update!

Something isn't installing right to tell it it is there. Mine is still up to date.
