so i installed the onscreen keyboard and used it twice. loved it. it was a bit slow but i understand its normal. so i decided to go ahead and install some of the new themes, but my text messaging wont come up at all now. i undid all the tweaks i put on from the quick install. deleted the themes, and the keyboard but still no text messaging...even the phone wont come up. everything else works great, the games and calender. I receive emails but no calls or texts....could this be because of the keyboard or themes? and why if i deleted it all wont they work again? i have also tried several restarts.

I had the same problem. I did a search in the forums and came across a way to fix the problem. There are four files that got corrupted during the patching process, all I had to do was download a zip file containing the files (from that thread) and follow the instructions on how to send them to my phone using quick install.
I'll try to find that post and give you the link.
    Hope this helps...

Try using the webos repair utility:

    http://forums.precentral.net/homebre...r-utility.html

see if that works for you...

At last resort you can run the actually webos doctor that will restore the Pre to factory state. However make sure you follow the following instructions if you choose to use webos doctor:
