Default Ringtones

I have several ringtones that I have downloaded that will play when selected, however when I try to pick one as my ringer the blue checkmark will appear but when I close the application it defaults back to the original ringer. Am I just doing something ignorant?

After you check the ringer, gesture back and click done.

This frustrated me a few times as well -- there is no place to click on apply or submit -- so I'd push it away and the ringer wouldn't change. Finally decided to try that back gesture and it works, but it doesn't seem as intuitive a step as it should be.

But it works, that's all that's important.
