IMPORTANT: Get the full extended warranty from Asurion (the one that includes accidental damage, etc), and don't use the center button.

I know that sound ridiculous, but I have not seen anything yet to confirm that Palm has actually fixed this issue:

My screen cracked after 15 days of use. Essentially what happens, is the center button is too close to the glass capacitive touch layer on the inside of the phone, and when its pressed a lot or too firmly, it begins to crack the screen from the center button up.

Sprint won't replace a phone with a cracked screen, and Palm -- although they will replace the phone -- will take their sweet time about getting your phone refurbished.
