Default 1.2 App Catalog

Okay, so I found something interesting today, so I will share.

Everyone that got webOS 1.2 on your pre, your app catalog now works!

Everyone staying with webOS 1.1, all apps now say FREE, no longer tagged with "Try Me"

The buzz is that 1.2 is coming tomorrow or tuesday. I think the changes are starting already. I notice the app store opens a lot quicker too. I have my fingers, and toes crossed.

Is there a thread about this "buzz?" I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just want to read it if there is. Link please?

My 1.2 market is also now working perfect. The app store organization is different also. 68 apps showing up.

This makes me feel SLIGHTLY better about the 1.2 delay. I'm glad to see they are working on other things beside the itunes sync stuff.

Palm better fix the app limit because I'm not going to remove all of my homebrew apps every time the store comes out with something new. I think it will hurt sales if they leave it as is.

Well, the leaked 1.2 catalog has the app limit. :/

If I remember correctly, there was a Q&A (maybe on Twitter) about app storage space. The Palm dev said something about it was going to be fixed later on. I doubt they would even think about keeping that limit so low.

Then, as long as there is homebrew, they get no money from me.

I'd rather reward people with "donations" than reward Palm's stupidity.

+1 Yes sir indeed. The 50 app limit is insanity at it's greatest. It better go away with the beta catalog.
