Okay, so I found something interesting today, so I will share.
Everyone that got webOS 1.2 on your pre, your app catalog now works! Everyone staying with webOS 1.1, all apps now say FREE, no longer tagged with "Try Me" SCREENSHOTS: http://s219.photobucket.com/albums/c...z/screenshots/ (thanks to Decimation!)

The buzz is that 1.2 is coming tomorrow or tuesday. I think the changes are starting already. I notice the app store opens a lot quicker too. I have my fingers, and toes crossed.

This makes me feel SLIGHTLY better about the 1.2 delay. I'm glad to see they are working on other things beside the itunes sync stuff.

Palm better fix the app limit because I'm not going to remove all of my homebrew apps every time the store comes out with something new. I think it will hurt sales if they leave it as is.

If I remember correctly, there was a Q&A (maybe on Twitter) about app storage space. The Palm dev said something about it was going to be fixed later on. I doubt they would even think about keeping that limit so low.

+1 Yes sir indeed. The 50 app limit is insanity at it's greatest. It better go away with the beta catalog.
