When is it coming to WebOS?
    Is there a workaround?

I figured I'd bring up this topic as it hasn't been discussed recently as far as I'm aware. The lack of support for it is my number one disappointment.

Yikes, glad I don't live in the city anymore (SF). Google Transit saved my life all the time, didn't even realize the Pre doesn't have it.

+1 on Transit. Need this, but also am wanting Latitude for WebOS.

Also, any maps.google.com url is redirected to the Maps app. At least let me use the web version, even mobile one. But no.

I think google maps on the Pre is severely crippled. I would love to see transit, ability to add locations to my contacts, street view etc.

Yes, if there was at least some way to get access to it in a different way. It is impossible as far as I can tell to get transit directions in any way at all. MS/Yahoo do not have the capability and we are stuck with the crappy app with google.

Palm/Google really need to get on this.

Doesn't Key rely on an onboard compass?

I'm ready to ditch my iPhone but I need Google Transit first, so I'm pleading with anyone who can find a way to make this work!

YOu might be able to use Google Maps for PalmOS in Classic. I haven't tried it though.
