    hey precentral,

I was wondering if anyone was experiencing the same touchscreen problem as me on my pre.

My touchscreen will become completely unresponsive if I do two things:
    1) open the keyboard slider to unlock the phone when it is "asleep"
    2) plug in the microusb port to charge the phone.

once i plug and unplug the microusb port a few times the touchscreen works without a hitch again. is anyone having the same issue? i want to know if i should use sprint's total equipment protection or if it's just a weird software issue that a webos doctor reset would rectify.

Its possible the Dr will fix it.

Do you ever turn your phone off? Try shutting it down everyday and rebooting,I bet you see marked performance gains as well as clearing up some glitches.
