Hi all, quick question. Where my house is I have no service so I don't get text messages until I drive into town. I was wondering if anyone knows a way to forward text messages I receive on my phone to my Google voice account?
P.S. I'm a novice musician, please check out my work if you get a chance, thanks much.

No, but if you have broadband at home, you're a perfect candidate for Sprint's airrave. You can call them up and in your case probably won't have too hard of a time getting one for free and getting the $5 monthly fee waived.

Thanks, I was pretty sure that no was going to be the answer to my question. Unfortunately they don't offer the Air Rave in West Virginia yet, but oddly enough they have one displayed at the Sprint Store.

Great thanks, I just tested it and it came through to my pre without any issues. The only downside is tell a ton of people to call my GV phone number instead of my cell number that I've had for years. Oh well my Google Voice phone number is cool, last four numbers spell RIFF, which is the name I produce music under. "2nd Day Riffs" Which you can check out by clicking the link in my sig (I know shameless plug).

    Thanks for the help everyone.

Promising, if Sprint doesn't get a tower up near my house the Air Rave is the way to go. Although i would have to keep my house phone because I don't want other people using my Pre to make calls when they come to my house. Yes I am Pre stingy.

Either way you'll love the Airave - I've had mine for two months now and went from zero to 1 bars at home to full strength at home now. While I get great signal strength now the only "issue" I have with the Airave is that it sometimes interferes with the caller ID from displaying properly on my phone while I use it in the house.
