I not in any hurry for an update (that could break some loaded homebrew applications): I have learned to live with the Pre’s bugs and other short comings. I would like an update as soon as flash is available.

you can still turn off gps from the menu. Not sure why they moved it

You could just grab the latest WebOS doctor and quit it if the title bar doesn't say a recent build
