so when the next update happens, can you just use webOSinstall to uninstall the virtual keyboard patch? Will that work? I am not good with rooting so I am concerned about being able to do this. Is the virtual keyboard patch the only add on that would effect the updates? Or are there more concerns such as the tweaks and such. Just planning ahead. I haven't had much time to sit down and learn how to root my pre just yet...just been reading a lot about it on these forums and also the web. I just don't understand how quite yet on my macbook but am going to take baby steps..it's actually quite fun to learn about this so far! My school work has been suffering as of late because of this new toy :/

Well then if he/she has not heard anything then i would say we are not getting an update today, oh well i will wait in anticipation for the new update. I sure like this phone though, much much better then the crappy upstage i had, i went from a yugo to a rolls royce in my opinion.

There is also some kind of new cut copy paste that I can't figure out how to work. There is a select all option under edit now and it selects everything on a webpage text and pictures.

Its giving me some kind of error that says the app catalog isn't available. But before it gave me the error I still saw the beta tag but there was a shopping cart icon added in the bottom right.
