No. The Pre has only two ports: USB and audio/mic. The later, unlike Apple devices, does not include video.

It's theoretically possible to have a device that uses USB, but such a thing would likely be more expensive and clunkier than the average consumer would be willing to pay/deal with.

So, you should pretty much assume the answer is "no."

A more realistic option is one where the Pre's screen could be sent to PC (there are plenty of these "remote control" type programs for other devices), where it could THEN be connected to a composite out. But that's not really what you want, is it?

that kind of sucks no video out. Kinda wish this played divx movies as well but oh well. Maybe next phone upgrade in 2 years will have all of this. Been waiting for better cameras and seems like they haven't improved much in 2 years, guessing they're still working on getting them smaller and smaller at the expense of higher quality. Seems like the size is finally small enough where they can work on quality, suppose battery life is another major factor.

It's next to the micro-USB port.

Mine is there. I've already hooked it up to my HDTV.

The problem is, you cannot put the battery back because of the cable. And, as you know, the Pre cannot run from USB power unless there's a battery installed (it's a safety thing).

So, while it's nice they included an HDMI port, I'm not sure how useful it is since there's no way to power the Pre while you're using it.

Yall must have the old Pre.

Mine has the MicroHDMI hook up.

Just do a quick Oreo-effect turn 45* and you'll see the port right below the microUSB port.
