No problems downloading here, although I think the backhaul's a little simpler for being so close to Palm I probably use the same base station...

agreed, same here.

sounds like a low quality version of the original.

Longest reboot ever? I blame the NFL. Go soccer! (not a fan of that either, just spiteful)

I prefer the new sound. Old one was harsh. Every one in my office would look to see *** happened when i would put it on the touchstone.

Strange... I downloaded the 87mb update, rebooted and had the phone say everything was updated. I was trying out some of the things that people in this thread were pointing out (most notably the NFL app) and didn't get the same results, so I went back to 'Update' and it said there was an update to 1.1.0, which was now 4mb.

WOW. The whole installation process has taken more than a half an hour, but finally it's done.

Same here. No NFL app, Sprint TV was broken. Hopefully this fixes both.

Update: It did fix both.

Downloaded SUPER fast here at work over WIFI, took 4 minutes or so, validated fine in like 2 minutes, is now installing and looks to be almost a quarter way done updating in about a minute. Not taking long at all. Lucky for me as I don't have a charger with me

How about tethering if you have it installed?
