Just go to mobilespeedtest.com from your browser and do the test, then copy the code and post it here...

    I am getting 2.44mbps

BTW - I'm located in Alexandria, VA - about 10miles south of Washington DC.

On my home WiFi, my Pre peaks out at around 4 Mbps down. I'm guessing that's the extent of the Pre's capability, since my computers get roughly 4-8 times that, about 15-30 Mbps down, depending on the time of day. That's on Roadrunner, in the Buffalo, NY area.

On EVDO, the range tends to be about 900-1200 Kbps down.

I haven't tested up speed on the Pre at all.
