So... you put a reminder in your calendar.
Lets say for simple sake, its in the PALM calendar not google so no syncing involved.
You say remind me 5min before.
    You wait.
    and wait
    5min before passes
    the event time passes
    no reminder.
This is everyday now for a week or more.
If i add the cal entry to google, same thing, no reminder.
Yes i specifically turn on reminder.
yes i have vibrate turned off, but still i should see a popup even if it was on vibrate.

(btw... this is actually my wife's phone, but believe me, i get to feel the frustration she has).

Anyone know if this is a bug? I've searched the net and see other people having the same issue. Do we have any resolution or atleast confirmation from PALM that this is an issue?

Its a major one to miss meetings.
I posted this in the subforum and people thought it may have something to do with update 1.04. Anyone know anything else, or found a workaround, or anything?

I made a change to a calendar setting on both my Pre and my wife's and experienced strange behavior. I believe I changed the color of one of many Google calendars from the phones. The change was not applied, and notifications were affected until I rebooted the phones. The changes were then applied and notifications were once again functioning. It even threw a wrench in the automatic email fetching and notification.

You might try restarting the phone: orange+sym+r

i should have put that in my original post.
the reboot only fixes things temporarily.

I'd take it in to the store and have them wipe it and reinstall eveything from the begining.

Sounds like a bad install, maybe,
