I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue. It has happened to me around 8 or 10 times sinice launch day.

    - Receive a call
    - Answer call
    - You can't hear anything but they can hear you just fine
    - Call them back (or they call you again) and it works fine

I want to find out if this is a PRE hardware, software, or Sprint network problem.

Is anyone else having the same issue?

Thanks but I haven't had the headphones hooked up since a week ago. Last night I had the problem for just one random call. Could it still be related?

Thanks, I'm looking but haven't found an answer yet.... It seems some have the headphone jack problem but my issue happens randomly so I don't think it is related.

Ive had that problem on many phones. Been with Sprint for 10 years. Must be their network.

I am in the telcom industry (landline). Even though this sucks, sometimes it just happens. Cause is probably a bad circuit (not being set up / tore down correctly). If it happens quite a bit, call sprint. They will check the circuits in the area you are having problems.

Thanks for the info. It is unfortunate to hear this is a Sprint network problem. I am a former (10+yr) Nextel customer and am not used to these types of issues. If it continues or gets worse, I will call Sprint.

U should not have this issue again. If it happens more then once, then return your Pre in the 30 days that u can and get a new one without this issue

Thats quite the leap to make on a random most likely network related issue.
