Incorrect. PalmOS and WinMO both could forward.

Right now the Pre (WebOS) cannot forward, it should be in the next update or coming soon.

This is only unique to the Pre (at the moment). Other Palm phones can forward texts.

Thanks for the replies....Just seems with such an advanced cell the forwarding feature wouldn't even be an issue.......

Ill sit back and patiently wait....

What are you talking about? You can't copy a text message someone sent to you...

WTF, why would a brand new phone come out without an easy feature such as forward. The free phones even have forward! not to mention the fact that it has no t9 or some sort of word correction other than the most slightest of changes that dont really help anyways. like if you wanna type"u" to shorten "you" it wont let u, but some people cant recieve long txt messages so its nice to shorten them, but cant now!

Funny, if we could enter this code on the main screen and it would enable us to forward a fricking text message.

Again, the only way I know is to take a screen shot and then attach it as a pic to your outgoing text

There's a thread with a solution to this over here:

    http://forums.precentral.net/web-os-...orwarding.html

    Requires a rooted Pre . . . works like a charm

    I just got one yesterday:
"Lisa Anne born 11:13pm. 8.2 pounds! Mom is doing well and pops is proud! Please forward to family"

Not that it was hard to retype what he wrote, but kind of annoying when I could have forwarded his message from my old Treo 180. I typed and sent the message to a group of people and then I realized I forgot someone, so I had to retype it again

The sad thing is you shouldn't have to Root your Pre to forward text.
