Dont have one yet, but I was told last night by some BBY mobile friends that they aren't able to buy one and use their plan with it until Aug.

They said it may be possible I could use my old SERO plan on it by then. (The $30 one.) They were told once stock counts are back up is when they can do that as well, since their plan is about the same as mine.

I was told to check back with them around that time to see if they have gone lenient on the plans for the Pre. They said they would call and check and see if I could keep my plan.

I know we cant NOW, but no one said they wont be more flexible once the initial..."I want mine now" buyers have theirs, and there is a normal stock.

I guess we'll find out. July is just around the corner, so I can wait another month after. It cant hurt to try. Because the thing is, if they can use their cheap plan, that means the system will allow it to be done, and it can be entered in the computer. So all that means is that you'd have to get to the right person to get the job done.

If not, there is always a shot with the new Tour, or the HTC.

    - $169.99 a month for a 3000 minute two line Everything Data Family plan
    - $19.99 for a third line

Add those two and subtract off 21% for corporate discount...and then add 3 times $7.00 for insurance on each phone (no discount on insurance)

So about $170 for three lines with insured handsets. Of course, Uncle Sam add-on fees will most likely jack that to $200. All-in-all, it's cheaper than what we had before on two different carriers...and we get more.

No I will not take a screen shot...too much personal information on it and I do not have the time nor the interest to photoshop out my info.

You can choose to believe whatever you want. Doesn't matter to me, I'm still getting the discounts.

    1: Can't stack corporate discounts
2: Loyalty codes not in system anymore unless it is a carryover that expires eventually.

    - $129.99 a month for a 1500 minute two line Everything Data Family plan
    - $19.99 each for 3 more lines.

Add those two and subtract off 25% for corporate discount

I have insurance on 3 of the phones at $7.00 each.

So about $158 plus a lot of taxes.

When it comes to Sprint screwing up and configuring a plan in a way that shouldnt work, I would believe almost anything!

Dont count on it being there forever though.

That is incorrect, I have a Pre on my account now. We (Employees) can't purchase a phone from Best Buy or Sprint, but the phones work on our plans just fine.

Honestly, there is no reason to assume you will be able to have it on your SERO plan in August just because employees can purchase one for their employee plan at that time. There are no restrictions to what phones can be on employee plans (at this time), there are (obviously) for SERO plans.

$130 for 1500 Everything Data Family plan + $7 insurance on each = $144 less 23% corp discount = $111 before taxes. Its actually similar to my plan before.

from what i hear sprint will be getting everyone off sero before the end of the year onto the new plans..50/50 chance this is true based off my sources

I have the 900 minutes/month plan. I get a 23% discount on every month from my employer. I also talked the sprint lady into giving me the Airave for free (device and the monthly charge waived). So I might even go down to the 450 minute plan being that I'll be making free calls in my house.

Someone who works selling Sprint. IE: radioshack, BBY, walmart employees or employees of a 3rd party Sprint dealer.

Interesting, I didn't realize you could apply both a corporate and a credit union discount. I added the Pre to an existing shared account as a separate phone not involved in the sharing. I'm on the 450 ED plan (why does that sound like I need Viagra?) with the 10% credit union discount (by just showing the salesperson my credit union ATM card when I bought the phone on day 1). I'm thinking of signing up with Alliant Credit union to get the 25% off deal. (It sure would be nice if they keep the 10% and apply the 25%, but I won't get greedy.)

The one slightly disappointing thing is that my wife says my daughter now needs an add-a-phone and the Sprint website wants me to put all the other phones on my more expensive plan. (They quoted that the new plan after adding my daughter would be about $400/month.) I guess I have to go into a sprint store and see what they can do.
