AAAHHG! On my Pre at least, Classic no longer runs after the update!
I get "An issue within Palm OS has occurred preventing Classic from continuing."
Starting Classic in safe mode doesn't help.

Are update installs supposed to take this long? I started mine over 10 minutes ago, and its still just sitting at the palm screen. I remember when I installed 1.0.2 it took FOREVER too almost 30 minutes.

I noticed this in the update notes:

It was previously 1.4 so does that mean it might have signal improvements?

My assumption is that this update will focus on fixing glitches and improving fundamental performance (e.g. reception, battery life, what have you...), rather than adding new functionality.
Some of the peppiness could simply be due to the reset.

are you installing from a wifi network or the sprint network? I found 1.0.2 wouldn't go for me over the air. Of course that was launch day and Thousands of people were trying to download the update at the same time.Quick question guys,
