Post Websites that work very well with the Pre...

All,
I am starting this thread to compile lists of great sites for the Pre. I have found the following sites work almost like an app would and would love to know of more if others are aware of them.

I would love to see more. Please contribute!

Also, I can't really find a good Ebay site to use on the Pre. I am well aware that you can go to any website and that the WebOS browser rocks, but this thread is meant for sites that look nearly like apps.
Thanks

I was thinking of starting a thread like this. Been looking for good Webkit optimized websites to fill the void until the apps start surfacing.

As far as ebay goes why not just use thier regular mobile site. I know it's not really a WebKit type site but still pretty steamlined and works to watch bids or do simple searches for items. It works good enough for me until they release an official app.

Some device detection wouldn't hurt you guys to point a pre owner to the mobile version..... I had NO idea there was one

Oh also for that Google reader link. If you put a /i/ after the url you have listed you will get their iPhone/WebKit optimized site.

Here a couple of other lists online that list the "top" iPhone optimized sites. Keep in mind both entries are a couple of years old, but there are some good links as well as good discussion of other optimized sites.

The full facebook site will, however, tickle every memory leak in the browser. You'll get the memory warning pretty quickly with facebook open.

The default facebook page on the pre is pretty much useless. I can't comment on status updates, and i lost much of the functionality that i had using the m.facebook.com on my windows mobile treo.

I've had no problem with it what so ever. Perhaps I've been lucky. It's a lot better then x.facebook.com or m.facebook.com

It does but it's quite small.

EDIT: If you pinch out it looks fine. I tested a couple of the calculations and they work.

Thanks - I mean did the server detect the browser correctly and did it route to Oncopda ?

I can't test it myself until I get my hands on a GSM Palm Pre

Yes, it automatically redirected. Here's what one of the results screens looks like.
