I got my second PRE after the frist locked up. I ran the migrate software, so far so good, contacts, calendar, memos all there.... then i connected it to my USB and copied and pasted photos to the DCIM folder on the PRE. That caused the same lock up i got on the first phone! Only 10 low res images from my Palm Desktop that were in my Treo 755p. The PRE screen warned, "memory critical error, delete some cards". It was locked, and would not allow any activities, including deleting the images. The only card open was the Contacts.
QUESTION: Is there a HARD reset that is NOT software dependent (Buttons presses on start up). QUESTION: Is there a safe way to transfer Images to the PRE? |

Removing the battery only causes a reboot. I need a hard reset, with all data wiped out, so i can get started again. all i get now is the palm logo forever, i can NOT access the software (phone or any menus).
