I have my work laptop dual-booted with Vista and Ubuntu. This is mostly because I like to mess around. I find that I can't use Ubuntu all that effectively for work, and one of the big reasons is Office 2007 documents render pretty badly in OpenOffice.org.

Today I got a pptx presentation in an email, and I happened to be in Ubuntu, so I opened it up in OO.o, and text boxes ran into each other, it was a mess.

Just for the heck of it, I pulled up the same email on my Pre. To my utter shock, Documents to Go rendered it almost perfectly! Text boxes did not run into each other. There were still a couple of issues, but I have to say I was very impressed! It was usable on the Pre, more so than it was in Ubuntu.

I can't wait to get the full version of Documents to Go on here!

Landscape (rather than portrait) documents. I can't seem to read the far right edge, no matter what view mode or edit mode I try.
