    So my Pre has gotten really lose, like others on the board and I was thinking of bringing it back. I didn't get the insurance, but it's within the first 30 days, so will they replace it for free? Or should I add the insurance before going back? Thoughts from people who did this would be appreciated

    One year warranty against factory defects. Take it back.
    I find it sad/odd that people ask to be thanked. How genuine is it when you have to ask? It's like forcing your kid to call Grandma, to thank her for the new underwear she sent for their birthday.

    If within 30 days just take it back where you got it and get it exchanged. They might not have one, but you would have returned before the 30 days and be eligible when they get one.

    do i have to take it back to the store i got it or can i do any sprint?

    any sprint with a "service" department. I have returned 2 Pre's already for loose hinges (new one is much better). Make sure you have them set aside one for you or else you wont get one.

    so i should call ahead for that? or do i need to stop by
