I just got the phone on Saturday and lifetime calls says 2728. I would assume this is for my previous phone too because I want to sell my Touch Pro and I just checked the lifetime calls on it. Does this not reset? Or do I need to reset the Pre on that ##786# page?

I was just searching for the same answer - I've had my Pre for 3 weeks and I'm over 27000. I was thinking lifetime calls is phone calls (I have 500 lifetime minutes on it) + data calls. Can anyone confirm this?

Well I have 1629 Calls. Good bit lower than 2700. Makes me feel like I'm not very important seeing as I've had this number for over 8 years.

Wow, are those huge #'s or average? Post all four of your #'s.

Gotta be something else; my data # is gigantic (normal) & my life calls is 22452, which is TOTALLY off the mark even if it's seconds = 374 mins. I've had this phone number on my pre & 755p for two years +, but the function I use on my phone the least - is the phone. I'm a data hog - I might make a call once a month (emergency).

From the title of the thread bigkevj...

21,375 - this MUST include "data calls", which make it 100% useless.

Maybe it's calculated in seconds? Divide your number by 60 and it starts to looks a LOT more reasonable... my number is 32805 which is 546 minutes... that could definitely be accurate with all the hours I've spent on various tech support / customer service lines in the last couple weeks... or we could all be wrong, who knows :P

Yes it definitely includes data calls. I just tested it. Check the count and them went to my email and forced a refresh. Checked the count again adn it had increased. I definitely had not made a voice call. Especially 13 of them between the time I checked the count.

I agree with others, "calls" is counting data hits (useless). I just checked my count, then after my email refreshed, the count was 4 calls higher. I happen to have 4 email accounts. No change to the other stats...

    DataTx: 33,814,376 (data hog)
    Calls: 24,900
    Timer: 672
