    They start at $69.99

To me my iPhone plan and the Pre plan are almost the same.
    $39.99 - Voice
    $30.00 - Data
    $5.00 - 200 text messages

    I don't need unlimited texting

WHO needs a compass in a phone? Just open up google maps. They listed that feature in the comparison.

Because it helps you orient the users direction on the map quickly.

    - mms and tethering are coming to AT$T this summer.
    - I dont not pay for or need unlimited sms texting.
    - The 3.0 OS has ad2p
    - both AT$T and Sprint stink. Give me my iPhone and Pre on Verizon please.

This journalist is living here in england like me - where we don't have any Pre's...

Why doesn't he wait till he's tried one before making comparisons?

What a lot of people are missing is that iPhone 3.0 is HUGE because all these useless "little" upgrades are going to be mixed with the various dock-accessible hardware add-ons currently in development and implemented in a ton of unique uses that none of us even thought about.

As searchable said, not only did they demo the compass nicely, they also showed some amazing things that will make the iPhone much more than just a phone.

I understand slamming iPhone/Mac users because they come off so badly. But people with this agenda against the iPhone itself are missing the big picture. (BTW, I'm a Mac/iPhone/Pre user)

I just Tweeted him also. I said this.

" I love PCWorld, but this wasn't really comparison of phones. It was more about what iPhone is, not what the Pre could do."
