Default yahoo instant messaging

I can't seem to figure out how to get my yahoo instant messaging up on pre. Is it me or does this phone only support AIM and google talk?

I haven't tried it yet, but I'm understanding that right now it does not support Yahoo or MSN/Live messenger.

In the meantime, I highly recommend Meebo Mobile.

Right now that's the mobile web page used by all devices (including the iPhone, there is no app). You can log in to all popular chat protocols (with a Meebo account it auto logs you in to all of them but this is not necessary).

I been using Meebo for almost three years. It's a very good multi client IM. I hope that Shape Services comes out with IM+ for Pre. They have a version for Palm OS, which may run in classic. They also have a BB, Iphone, WinMo, Android, and Symbian client. So, it's likely it will happen. I rather have a native solution, but Palm's AIM/Gtalk messaging in a resource hog.
