Palm says that Yahoo is supposed to be on the Pre in a "few weeks"

Right now that's the mobile web page used by all devices (including the iPhone, there is no app). You can log in to all popular chat protocols (with a Meebo account it auto logs you in to all of them but this is not necessary).

I been using Meebo for almost three years. It's a very good multi client IM. I hope that Shape Services comes out with IM+ for Pre. They have a version for Palm OS, which may run in classic. They also have a BB, Iphone, WinMo, Android, and Symbian client. So, it's likely it will happen. I rather have a native solution, but Palm's AIM/Gtalk messaging in a resource hog.
