The review sure is negative but I'm worried about the slider. I'll still grab and if its a problem return in 30 days. I doubt they were the only ones to encounter a slider problem in the short time they had the phone.

Personally I would not buy a phone that didn't have a SIM card (and a quad band GSM radio), so for some of us the SIM card is an advantage.
