Default Palm Pre documents are leaked.

You might want to go to SprintGurus to get access to the User Guide, Quick Start Guide, Features Guide and the Fact Sheet. You'll probably have to register, but it's worth it.

Or you can use THIS link, thanks to peestandingup.

Or scroll down to Post 6, where Coal has provided direct links. All thanks go to Coal, who I take to be SprintGuru, and is the original source.

If you visit the linked page, you'll see they are too large to be posted here.

Thanks for the link balboadave.

Thanks, Nacho. Even if I knew how to post the documents here, I wouldn't, as I respect any site that is willing to go out on a limb, even to the extent to put their watermark on the files. They deserve the traffic.

ETA: Thanks Coal.

Interesting that the in one place the fact sheet quotes battery life as 5hrs talk / 250hrs standby, but then in another area it says 4 hrs talk / 200hrs standby...

AND it lists Phone as Modem - bluetooth only and with a plan that allows it. Pre FTW!

To purchase the app, tap Download. (If you have already installed the application, you
do not see a Download button. Tap Update if an update is available. If the app is not
free, you are taken to the developer’s website to purchase the app.

Before you tap Download or Update make sure you know whether the app
is free, must be bought, or can be downloaded in a trial version before you
buy it. Tapping either button commits you to buy a fee-based app. You also
need to make sure you have enough storage space on your phone to fit the
app. Open Device Info and look at the Available field under Phone.

This tells me a lot about the App Catalog. Apps are trial apps, paid, or free. Tapping to buy sends you to developer's website to purchase. No clue if it'll be a long process to purchase an app or if you have to enter in purchase info over and over.

I'm wondering if there's a version of the catalog you can browse on computer to send to phone.

They might not be pre-installed on the phone but I'd expect applications from both within the first month in the app store.

Failing that, the browser should work suitably until then. Bookmarks.
