I really need to stop looking at Pre stuff, its just too awesome.

    Reminds me of this:
    Palm History: Palm III>IIIc>CLIÉ NR70v>CLIÉ TG50>Tungsten C>Treo 650>Treo 700p>Centro>Pre!! 6/5/09
    Phone History: Way too long

Sorry Timmy, SERO does not work with the Pre.

Definitely like the new icons better. It's not a huge deal, true, but the new phone icon is cooler!

Do you think the Calendar Icon will show the actual date?

    Neat. Thanks for that.

The Palm VP made it seem like the 8GB could be divided up between user-accessible storage and RAM, according to the whims of the user. I think he just didn't want to admit that he didn't know.

    Which is unfortunate.
    * Stuck patches? Partial erase worked for me.
    * Stuck virtual keyboard? Partial erase AND folder deletion worked for me.

Think. Most phones just have a random fixed date for the graphic. Maybe it'll be "live" but if I had to say I'd say no.

Yes the calendar actually displays the number of the current day. I analyzed the videos from when they revealed the newest apps and classic. They announced the apps on the 1st of April and classic was shown on the 2nd and I noticed the calendar icon change for each day.

Nice, if that's the case, that's the type of attention to detail that I like.

My iPod touch has a "live" date in its calendar app. It's pretty nice and I hope the Pre has it....

The icons all look very sharp that I have seen, and I like the fact that some are "open", and not enclosed in a box like the iPhone.

The iPhone displays the date. I would imagine the Pre would be the same.

Well I'll be happy to be wrong here.

The date isn't on the top status bar so it would make sense.
