    Did anyone notice that the price of the Palm Pre is listed as starting FROM $199. Usually, when something is priced FROM a certain price point, there are other options available that are higher than the From price. Or am I just thinking too hard. I would love to get a pre with more memory.

    If it was a car dealership, I'd agree with you, but I think they're just covering themselves for the people that don't understand the mail-in-rebate pricing scheme.

    You don't have to sign a two year agreement to buy the pre. You could buy it outright for it's full cost.

    Not everybody is eligible for the rebate and $150 off.

    I'm sure we would've heard about another version of the Pre if that were the case. Announcing a 16GB version would be really smart right now to prevent the huge criticism thats gonna come when the 32GB iphone gets announced 2 days later.

    yep... just read that via email... the deal is, Best Buy will not have a MIR and their upgrade price and new price may be different based on recent releases
