    The article has a picture of the character "Ralph Hinkley" from the old TV show "Greatest American Hero" with a Palm logo on his suit and carrying a Pre. That picture is also used by a member here as his avatar. Not sure if he Photoshopped the image and All Things D used it or if it was from someplace else on the web.

    That's the automatic formatting the forums provide for URL's. I didn't name the url, that's just how the copy & paste turned out.

    In the advanced mode or reply, if you look down the page you'll see this...

    "Automatically parse links in text"

    Oh, one last thing, I never claimed it was the announcement from Sprint that people are waiting for , just the article mentioned by the OP.
