Just want to get some thoughts on this.

I'm a big advocate of cloud storage but just have a question regarding application settings storage.

On an iPhone if I download a game or an app and then play the game and change settings within an app, all of those settings are stored back in the iTunes database when I sync. Therefore, if I have a phone crash or reset my phone, the next time I sync I will get all of my settings back. What do you think the Palm solution to this is?

We know that when you get a pre you have to create a palm account, do you think they will give you a small amount of storage space that will be used to store application settings?

    Thoughts?

Palm has stated that all important information like contacts and system settings would be saved in the cloud. I guess its all a matter of Palm deciding what is "important"

But even if they don't I'm sure there will be a way to create a back-up of your unit, whether it is from a 3rd party or on your pc (gasp!) lol

Palm has a backup service for these sorts of things.
