l with a total ARV of $1,800 (each), Total ARV of all prizes is $3600

1800-1188(12x99)=612. 612-70(touchstone)=542.

Wonder if they are saying the phone would be around 550.

$550 w/out contract sounds exactly on the money.

I'm at the $75 discount point in my contract, so that equals the touchstone and I'm right back to $550.

At least I know where I should budget at least.

edit: all this, of course, is speculative. Everybody knows I am going to either be a real reviewer or win this contest, of course.

I wouldn't go by that all by itself for contract pricing. They have to assign value for tax purposes and it is most likely inflated a bit as a result.

I just entered. If I win and get a Pre, I am ditching AT&T and Blackberry and diving into the Pre pool head-first. I will commit fully. Out go all the old Nokia phones, Moto phones, everything (except my old Treo 680!).

550 with a subsidy of maybe $300 (Sprint usually discounts around this much for a smartphone). That leaves it at $250. Throw in a $100 mail in rebate & we're looking at a nice sale.
