    I would definitely pay $2000 for the Pre. Probably $3000. Not $4000, that would be too much.

    I expect to keep it something like three years during which I pay several thousands to the cellular operator.

    I'm prepared to spend up to $250 for an on contract Palm Pre, any more than that and I'll have to think very hard about it, but I may be willing to go 299, but I'd have to get a hands on before I did.
