Palm Pre sighting (sort of)

I was getting my car washed today in Sunnyvale a couple miles from Palm's HQ. Take a look at the license plate of the guy that was in front of me:

Unfortunately I didn't get to talk to the driver so I couldn't ask him if he worked for Palm.

Yeah, as soon as I walked away from his car he got in and zoomed off. I stuck around for a few minutes while they were drying it but then I had to pick my car up. Oh well!

What's interesting is that the sticker on the plate is for September. That means he had it for a few months before the Pre was announced.

Hey get your cop friends to do a plate check, give his address and then go have a loooong talk with him. Have your report on my desk in the morning.
