Time to Change the Official Palm Statue

If you've ever seen the Palm headquarters complex in Sunnyvale, you will be struck by a statue of an extra slim dude holding a Palm Treo 650. The statue is about 4 stories tall. See below:

This has been there at least 4 years.

It's time to replace the Treo with a Pre!

I should also note that I've almost polished off the last of a bottle of Chimay Grand Reserve, so I'm spreading the thanks liberally. I've resorted to drink to console my thirst for Pre.

My wife and I are currently on vacation in San Francisco, so we decided to do a "Tech Company Scavenger Hunt" and we went to the HQ of many tech and Internet companies including Palm (the second stop after Google).

Here is a picture of me and my Pre in front of the Palm statue.

Living in the Bay Area helps me make such pilgrimage xP next time I go though is to complain about my Pres build quality and then force Palm to let me go through their stock until I find one I want! In my dreams obviously...
