Let's start a list of programs that we want and or need for the Pre!

Of course number one is some basic Medical Programs, Drug data base ect.

I would like a Travel Program that would have airlines schedules, locater numbers ect, appointments. The one with mobimate is too complicated. I would prefer a simple one where i enter all the information. I want the application to reside on the Pre.

Bible Programs (I know Olivetree and Laridan.com)

a program to check the sunset and sunrise based on location

Pocket Quicken (not even out on Blackberry yet)

Alarm program which has been already indicated!

I will add to this list later!

Why on earth would you want Opera Mobile on the Pre? Have you seen the videos of the standard browser? There's no need for Opera!

And threaded messaging...come guys...never seen any of the videos?

I have MSDict... but if I have access to dictionary.com?
I have OLIVE tree software also... but if I can have access to United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (I am of the cafeteria Catholic persuasion)...

I LOVE iSilo (and still use it)... but with a decent browser... why bother?

SHame really, I contacted all of these Palm OS developers to consider developing for WebOS... but... why?

    Food for thought...

(I want GrxView Pro... love to be able to read TIFF files (faxes)... I want a screen capture program (snapz)...

    How about filez & mreset?
    lol
Now it's the WAITING GAME: a GSM Palm Pre
    T680 (COPPER) + Cingular = FUN!!
    My T650 & 6230b and NX70 are retired... =(

    Bible Reader or My Bible.

One question how would Bible reader work with no 5 way nav button? That makes it so easy to one handed select chapters and verse while reading, any guess?
Sprint client since 1998. Treo 650, Treo 700, Treo 755p, Palm Pre till it died--- now have HTC EVO

Well, since I am coming from Blackberry, I really like and use Poynt. As much as I loved DirAssist on my old Palm, Poynt kills it big time.

For traveling I need something to keep me up to date on airline schedules but this is much easier with a real browser. Still, a quick, mobile formatted screen would be better. I think there are some good pages formatted for phones out there.

Splash ID or an equivelent would be very important. I use that a lot.

I am guessing that there will be a good Facebook app to go with the integration. A similar Linkedin app would be awesome.

After that I guess games. I play hold'em and brickbreaker often but better games would help me kill downtime.

I sure hope the media playing capabilities are excellent.

    1) A good database program like Handbase.
    2) Genealogy program is a must.
    3) A good podcast program that not only would keep up with all your subscriptions, but would track what hasn't been played yet. Just like Portapodder.
    4) Medical program like Heathfile.
    5) Conversion for ereader to enable us to read all the palm os ebooks purchased off ereader.
    6) Kinoma
    7) Directory Assistance
    8) DayNotez
    9) A good diet program
    10) A program like Great Dates. I use this all the time for scheduling tasks.
    11) Stock Manager

    That is the short list

Long shot, but a Calendar program like DateBk6. I still miss that years after having switched to WinMo (Axim). I particularly miss how Outlook doesn't understand the "This and following . . ." changes in recurring appointments!

I want an app where I can shake the phone and whatever other app I desire opens. For instance, I shake the phone and the dial pad pops up.
    VisorPhone Clone
(Please do not thank me - I find it scary)
