Might it not make more sense to just close this thread and have a new sticky for GSM speculation so it doesn't get bogged down in all of the craziness already contained within? Just an idea.
  5. #2285
Yes, but the thread belongs in the Eos forum, not this one.
Pixi: Sold. Pre: Passed off to another rep. Touchpad: Just a toy until Cloud syncing arrives, and a better doc editor.

PLEASE PUT THIS THREAD TO BED. IT IS OVERLOADED.
You can start a new Predictions and Speculation - GSM Pre" thread. Suggestion: Make the existing thread named "Anyone waiting for a GSM Pre?" the Predictions and Speculation - GSM Pre thread, it already has predictions and speculation posts!

Thank you for letting me air my 2 1/2 cents.

Cause its past speculations and rumors already? Does everyone have all the facts? If yes, can someone put down one post of which are fact and/or fiction? If there are still speculations out there, as I still see some, this thread will remain open.

Right now all the Pre CDMA stuff has been put to rest anything from now on is for the Pre GSM.

I have been a Palm Treo power user/lover ever since it came out and I live in one of the biggest cell phone/smart phone markets in the world (Miami). I have seriously been considering switching to Sprint just so I can use the new Pre. So when I go into the local Sprint stores to see the new Pre, I expect the "Advocate" to bring that little sucker out and show me what it does without question. (No "pre-qualifying" me.) Instead, I am told that they do not have it in yet, (Big lie) and that while the phone is capable of multitasking Sprint's network is not. (Big mistake)

I'm sorry but I just won't be switching to Sprint and it's now doubtful that I will wait for the Pre to be available unlocked to use on another network. Palm had their chance to keep me and they blew it. The only question now is: who will get my business?

It Doesn't matter. That just means there will be one more Palm Pre for someone else besides you to fully appreciate it. Go buy an iPhone...

You know it's amazing how many people put up with they way they're treated. Me I'm on my way to right now who knows where. Maybe I'll just take a break. I need a vacation.

You kind of have an over-inflated sense of entitlement, don't you? You EXPECT the advocate to bring it to you? Is your name Dan Hesse? You will have plenty of time to see it when its launched. Until then, don't let the door hit you on your way out.

    Hey Sean,
Don't let the door hit you in the *ss on the way out. Seeya. Turn off the lights too while you're at it. It's obvious no one is home.
