Why is the Pre black?

Pre has just put the nail in their coffin by coloring this phone black. Don't they realize that any real phone that is to be considered for popularity in today's society has to be orange? I refuse to buy the phone and suggest a boycott until Palm submits to our demands that the color be orange!!!

some funny stuff. Me I love only black BUT since I always put it into a case I am never too concerend about color. BUT having a choice of colors is a good thing. Individuality is great.

Because Apple has a pending trademark on the use of the color orange partially or in whole on a device with a touch screen that uses computer implemented methods to determine gestures heuristically.

Holy crap! I've never heard of these guys before. Pretty awesome. I only wish they would take orders for netbooks like the Aspire One.

this phone will NEVER see the light of day unless it's PInk... and had a perl finish to it.. that what if a black light hits it.. BOOM looks like it has kryptonite in it!!
