    Sorry, I daughter wanted black, so I replied and asked to change the phone to black. I also asked for more information about pre-ordering..

    funny. love my morning Wall steet journal. wouldn;t go in the NYC A train with out it. I tried reading news on my phone (books as well), just didn;t like it in the train. Not to mention i would need to dowload news every morning before i go to the train.

    Well today I received a call from some loyalty retentions department. My 8 year old account's primary line has been out of contract for some time. This person was very knowledgeable this I decided to ask her about the Palm Pre's release date. Without a second of hesitation she told me february 15. When I clarified that I wasn't talking about the treo pro she confidently assured me she knew which one I was talking about. Take it for what it's worth but I think that's a reassuring sign.

    I tried to get thru to retentions but was got someone else that said in a couple of Months. Some one said earlier that they will make their June date and go head to head with Apple. That is "stupid" sorry for the words but Palm still does not have their complete "Act" together yet?

    Ok, so just like everyone else i have been following the day by day on precentral.net's home page and i myself decided to talk to a customer care agent about some problems im having with my 800w, but decided to sneak in a question about the pre at the end.

    I asked very specifically about the Palm Pre in a "support chat" this afternoon. Here is the conversation just for confirmation (based on what she said) i blanked out the name because i dont want to get anyone in hot water but here is the end of the chat:

    You didn't specify they should make sure PRE not Pro.... You never know with them, you have to tell the NOT PRO
