    The case looks very basic in the low qual pictures, Dieter, what does it really look like in person. I'm glad it has hard keys on the slider, even if they are the little Treo chicklets still. Great to hear that WebOS is better than expected.

    I dunno about when, but I'm sure this will be a Sprint exclusive to start.

    Not a huge fan of ALL webapps, even if they're stored on the device.

    First impressions (or questions, rather):

    1. Backwards compatibility? I've heard no mention of supporting PalmOS or Windows Mobile yet. Considering the fact that apps are based off of "HTML, CSS, and Javascript", seems like backwards compatibility might be problematic at best.
    2. Card slot. I've heard of no mention of a card slot. They couldn't possibly introduce this device without a card slot, even if it does have 8 GB memory built in.
    3. How does the phone app work? Can we see it?

    Dammit, Dan, quit talking about your profits and tell us when we can get one and how much they'll be!

    I agree entirely, I want a cardslot, but they made it sound like it'd have USB host support for Mass Storage devices too.

    Does not seem to have anything on the Sprint site yet regarding pre-registering.

    Where is the support for Palm OS applications?
    Pilot 5K->Palm IIIc->Tungsten T/T2->Treo 650/680 -> Pre+ (1.4.5 & Uberkernel)

    Pandora told them that it took them 3 days to bring their app to the new OS, so we think this platform will explode.
    Very interesting quote. I think this was their answer to palmOS apps.

    no mention of an apps store...
    Palm III > HS Visor > Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 750 > Treo Pro > PrePlus GSM
