Still no 'hide launcher icon' patch ???

I know someone did mention this before... but I'm still amazed that no-one has found a way round this problem.

That damned launcher icon is the most useless waste of space I've ever seen and I could certainly use the space for a fifth quick launch app....

Come on you patchmasters - save us pleeeeeease!!

It's not as easy as you think. In fact, it may be impossible to remove it in webOS 2.2.4 and below.

Been trying to find the past thread where of the devs said what Garrett is pointing out... that it isn't possible to remove in 2.x.x
