It's really bad. Won't last the day. My galaxy s2 would at least make it through a day.
Think I'll be buying a mugen battery.

It's all that tweaking and playing. I'm looking at the Mugen 1400 as well.

Or a fist-full of standard batteries off amazon for dirt cheap.

The Email retrieval setting is annoying as it leaps from 1 hour to 6 hours. Where are the 2 and 3 hour settings that would be more useful?

I got Gmail set as mail comes in, hotmail is set to every 6 hours.
I'm getting the Mugen 1400, should be good after that.

I'll calibrate the battery with DR Battery tonight and see if that helps.

Back when I had my FrankenPre2, the battery drain ****ed me off to no end.

So glad they fixed that completely with the Pre3.

Did some more searching, had twitter and facebook updating every 15 minutes. I turned that all off. Don't need it.
    Hope that helps it.

My accounts are set for manual update. I poke 'em when I am expecting something or am bored. Otherwise they stay quiet.

Thanks to the GPS in Device Menu patch I'm easily able to leave GPS off and toggle it on when needed so I'm running without GPS on most of today. Brightness in Device Menu patch is letting me quickly switch from 15% to a higher setting if needed (but I haven't nudged it once today)

Also, in Govnah under advanced settings for the OnDemandTcl1200 profile I have moved the PowerSave Bias to 10 (stock is 0, max is 1,000). I haven't noticed any lag in my OS or loading web pages. Granted I haven't been doing too many tasks at once...

I'm using the phone, the web, playing...

Today was a good battery day. I'm liking these settings. I took my phone off the charger about 10 hours ago and still have 53% battery.

8 hours down to %50. No calls, just text and emails.
Signal is not the greatest at my office, switches from edge to 3g depending where I am.

This could be the problem. It tries to connect all the time so it drains the battery.
Check out its behavior in places with good signal.
