I got my new-to-me Pre2 in the mail yesterday, replacing my VZW Pre+. I'll be writing a review later, but I'm a little confused about using Govnah and Uberkernel with this phone. I installed both, but intended to keep the speed stock for at least a little while, just to get a sense of how fast it is. The problem is, when I select the Palm Default kernel, the speed goes down to 300 mhz. For now, I'm running the OnDemandTcl 1100 kernel, which it appears runs at 1.1 ghz when active, and 300 mhz when on the charger.

How do I get back to stock speed? Should I just uninstall Uberkernel?

I have governer and the stock kernal installed. While looking at govnener it seems that the stock kernal steps its speed according to load.

Hmmm ... I don't think I had the stock kernel installed, then. When I set it to Palm Default the phone ran really, really slow.
