New to precentral.net, not new to WebOS...
Love my Pixi and TouchPad, but anticipate needing a new phone. Thinking my husband should make me a FrankenPre for me (I'm on Sprint). As I'm reading through numerous threads, if I understand correctly, I will need to get my hands on and activate (?) a Sprint Pre first? Is that a necessary step? Or can he begin (de)constructing first? |

no you need an activated pre - because the comms board can not be activated after the swap. Make sure to read the webOS Internals Wiki page before you or him starts. And welcome to the gang
