App Catalog Geo Restrictions Changed

Ok so if you search my posts you can see that i bought a HP/Palm Pre 2 from ebay.fr when i received the phone i was unaware of the ins and outs of the geo restrictions.

Anyway after deleting the previous persons profiles (very trustyworthy me :-)) and adding my own, upon opening the App Catalog i found it to be all in Euros, after a little digging and as many people know it was restricted forever to the french app catalog (i confirmed this using Impostah).

Now i had a few issues with the phone constantly resetting itself. I was advised my a rep (via online chat) to do a full erase and create a new profile. I did and to my amazement my paid access to app catalog is now US (Impostah confirms). Also the App catalog is displayed in $ (USD) and when i try and add my card details is just gives me options of USA Canada and Mexico.

I have contacted HP/Palm and am have a specialist case started.

If it had only done it in £ (GBP) the i wouldn't have complained one bit.

Does anyone know any SPECIFIC USA Apps that could totally confirm that i now have access to the USA store?

I bought a new pre 2 from the uk. Prices are announced in $ and an american credit card is required.

This is not good, because I live in Austria.

How can I get into the german store ?

I set Country and Language to Germany, nothing changed, american cc required.
