    When I try to make a purchase on my Palm Pre 2 Unlocked with the new app catalog it always tells me purchase failed. It says no carrier data connection and that I must be connected to AT&T to pay with my carrier account. Connect and try again or pay by credit card.

    I've removed the carrier account from my palm profile, tried using wifi and turning wifi off. Anyone have any ideas?

    Sounds like you are attempting to do carrier billing. Is this correct? If you are charge to your credit card do you have any issues?

    I have no problem using my credit card. I've done it many times. I was trying to buy NDrive USA using carrier billing

    Have you tried speaking to AT&T to ensure there is no blocks on their end that could be resulting in the fail. As long as the device recognizes an ATT SIM card in the device and it is running 2.1.1 or higher than it should work flawlessly.

    I didn't talk to AT&T yet I was just wondering if anyone else had this issue. Is not then why me and no one else? My bill is always paid on time.

    2.1.1? I thought the latest webOS version was 2.1?

    When can we expect this update?

    Well it was an interesting typo. lol

    So, carrier billing does work with webOS 2.1.0 (as long as your with AT&T)?

    Carrier billing currently works with Unlocked HP Pre 2's running ATT SIM cards and at least 2.1.0 and will also be supported on future ATT products.

    Any additional carriers / devices would be announced in the future.

    I will have to retract my previous statement as things just are not working right. Carrier billing is currently only going to be supported on ATT branded devices running 2.1.x

    I see. So an unlocked Pre 2 will not support carrier billing, only a Pre Plus, Pixi or Veer will support AT&T carrier billing?
