I've noticed that my Pre 2 will either not respond to my touch or will attempt to zoom in on a page if the screen is covered in finger prints. Wiping the fingerprints away makes the screen work flawlessly again. I rarely cleaned my Pre Plus' screen and never had this issue. Is this just the way Pre 2's are, or does mine have a hardware issue?

particularly greasy finger prints, and water... Will do this on a gorilla glass screen. Not specific to palm. I use eyeglass cleaner to clean the screen, and occasionally I put on a coat of carnuba wax.

its mostly an issue when someone holds the phone against their face on a call, or surfs the web with greasy fingers.

its not specific to palm, but to glass screens.

thanks for the tip! I put 2 coats of Meguiar's M09 "yellow wax" on the glass and protected the plastic with 303 Aerospace.
