    Hi,

I'll be buying a Pre 2 in the next few days and I'm looking around at prices in the UK

    HP sell them for 399.
    Expansys 379
    Clove.co.uk 354 ( Never heard of this company?? )
box.co.uk 369 with free touchstone ( Again, never heard of this company?? )
    ebay around 350 mark.

Clove seem to be the cheapest, but I'm wary of ordering from a company I've never heard of, so I {may} order from expansys.

Does anyone know of a better deal than this?

Does the Pre2 come with a touchstone anyway?

I waiting to see what solution HP will come up with for legacy owners, as hinted at in their post 9th Feb statement. It might include a discount for a Pre 2 upgrade?
Just saying in case you unaware, but don't hold your breath.

Expansys will do them on a 2 year Vodafone contract for free phone. Contract at 25.54 which is far cheaper than my current O2 contract for my release day Pre. I'm holding out till my O2 contract runs out in October to see what HP/Palm offer then.

I would buy it off contract and have it on giffgaff. The total cost is much cheaper.

    Sent from Palm Pre

I think I'm probably going to go with box.co.uk I asked them a few question and they were quick to reply, even on a Sunday. I hope they are not going to rip me off....

Next day delivery too. Just waiting for some money to arrive in my account, the wait is painfull!

Same as you, hoping that it'll be a Pre 3 by then

Might be tempted to buy a Pre 2 to tide me over, but only if HP / O2 publish some sort of timeline,
    Thought of the day :
No sense being pessimistic, it probably wouldn't work anyway

I fully expect this Pre2 to be a stop-gap phone. I'll sell it later this year when/iff the Pre3 is released.

But what a great stop-gap phone.

It's arrived and I'm pretty impressed with box.co.uk so I'd recommend them!

So far so good. I did forget that the touchstone dosn't work with a USB port, so I nearly had a flat battery.

But it's great! A bit smaller than I'm used to, but excellent!
